Leica Microsystems' years of experience in ergonomics are also evident in the Leica A60: the 38° viewing angle of the Leica A60 comes close to the natural head posture of humans. Zoom and focus knobs are within easy reach; the rotational resistance of the focus drive can be adjusted to the sensation of the individual user. The controls of the Leica A60 ring light are equally intuitive and easy to reach for both left and right-handed users. The Leica A60 offers you a magnification range of 5× to 30×, which allows both detailed viewing and a large-scale overview. And all this with consistent sharpness and without time-consuming refocusing.

With a depth of field of up to 13.6 mm, the Leica A60 has approximately twice the depth of field of comparable stereo microscopes without FusionOptics™ technology. In practice, this means that all areas within an object height of up to 13.6 mm are displayed sharply without refocusing.
