Münchmeyer Sternkreuz GmbH can look back on over nine decades of innovation in watch glass manufacturing – and on a partnership that has become indispensable to the watch trade: its close collaboration with the long-established company Boley. Since its foundation in 1931, Sternkreuz has stood for technical pioneering achievements. The first deep-drawn CELLULOID watch glass caused a sensation, before the company set new standards in 1934 by becoming one of the first manufacturers to use PLEXIGLAS for pocket watch and wristwatch glasses. Production developed rapidly – from embossed special shapes to modern large watch glass production from 1957 onwards.

With the introduction of mineral glass production in 1978, Sternkreuz expanded its portfolio once again and established itself as a full-range supplier of watch glasses in a wide variety of materials and shapes. Today, the range comprises around 16,000 different watch glasses, which are available to specialist retailers at short notice.

As a reliable distribution partner, Boley ensures that Sternkreuz products are available quickly, securely and worldwide. The combination of Sternkreuz quality and Boley's logistical strength has proven itself over decades and forms a cornerstone of the international furniture wholesale trade.

**Welcome to the Boley workshop on 11.-12. April 2026 in Stuttgart **

You can now register for our professional workshop on PUK fine welding. We will provide you with comprehensive support and offer you a practical exchange of experience with our qualified speaker.

Under the leadership of Ms Susanne Englert, master silversmith and current teacher at the stately Drawing Academy in Hanau, we are offering you this workshop with extensive training and exchange of experience on 11.-12. April 2026 at our premises in Stuttgart. You will be trained on the latest ‘PUK 6.1’ equipment from Lampert Werktechnik and only need to bring your own pieces of jewellery and watches as practice pieces.
