Precision Welding

Lampert PUK 6.1

Soldering heats the whole piece and means flux, pickling and often unsetting stones. Micro welding keeps the heat where it is needed: a short arc pulse joins the metal at one precise spot while the surrounding area stays largely cool. Chain links, jump rings, hinges or broken ear studs can be repaired directly on the finished piece, in many cases without removing stones and without pickling afterwards.

Lampert’s PUK 6.1 has been in use in many workshops for years. It handles all precious metal alloys, including very thin material, and has a dedicated PIN mode for welding ear studs and pins. Operation is one handed via a joystick, and frequently used settings are stored.
