Reamers Seitz

The reamer has a tapered shank. The semi circular cutting portion is followed by a cylindrical portion, the diameter of which is a hundredth of a millimeter less than that of the jewel to be fitted. When reaming the hole, push the reamer as far as the cylindrical part.

Advantages:
Reamers with a single cutting portion make for regular reaming and accurate centering of the hole. The cylindrical portion insures that the hole is absolutely straight.
