LOCTITE 270 – Threadlocker

High-strength universal threadlocker for all metal threaded connections; it cures anaerobically and provides permanent protection against loosening caused by shock loads and vibrations. LOCTITE 270 is ideal for high-load screw connections such as stud bolts, nuts and screws in engine and pump housings. The product cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and seals at the same time.

It is suitable for both active metals (e.g. steel, brass, copper) and passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces. LOCTITE 270 tolerates thin layers of anti-corrosion, cutting and lubricating oils and ensures reliable curing even on slightly contaminated surfaces. The disassembled joint can only be loosened by heating to approx. 300°C.
