Polishing and grinding drum UT 5

Compact small polishing drum made of aluminium profile with stainless steel cover plates for polishing and grinding jewellery, plates and clock wheels. The parts to be machined are degreased, deburred, rounded, ground and smoothed. When using polishing bodies made of stainless steel, the surface is compacted and thus polished to a shiny finish. For grinding, ceramic chips are used which have a material-removing effect but should not be used in the same drum.

Process principle: Slow and gentle, through long machining with low intensity, this is the most ideal machining process. The resulting contact pressure causes the grinding or polishing effect.
