Moebius Microgliss TH7-SC – Synthetic precision oil for plastics and precision engineering
Moebius Microgliss TH7-SC is a colourless, synthetic speciality oil based on polysiloxanes and has been specially developed for applications where sensitive plastic components require reliable and long-lasting lubrication. Thanks to its moderate to low lubricating performance, it is ideal for precision mechanical components that generate only low frictional forces and simultaneously require high material compatibility.
The oil is characterised by excellent thermal and oxidative stability and remains reliable even at extreme temperatures between –30°C and +110°C. Thanks to its very good viscosity index, the viscosity changes only minimally with temperature fluctuations – a decisive advantage for precision watch movements, measuring instruments and micromotors.
Microgliss TH7-SC is primarily used in watch movements with plastic pallets (e.g. ETA calibres C01.12 or C07.111), but is equally suitable for precision mechanical devices in the automotive, aviation and measurement technology sectors. Wherever plastic or composite materials need to be lubricated, this oil offers a long-lasting, clean and extremely stable lubricating effect.
