Digital Battery Tester

Precise diagnostic instrument with a highly legible, red digital display for voltage measurement. The integrated “Load” function enables reliable capacity testing of 1.5V button cells (types 301-399) and 3.0V lithium cells (BR/CR series) under real load conditions. It is powered autonomously by an internal 9V block battery.

Operation and Test Procedure:
• Preparation: Connect the 9V block battery in the battery compartment.
• Open-Circuit Measurement: Contact the battery's negative terminal with the black test probe and read the unloaded voltage.
• Load Measurement: Press and hold the “LOAD” button for 2 to 3 seconds and observe the voltage under load.

Analysis:
• Stable Voltage: Low internal resistance; the battery has sufficient capacity and is functional.
• Significant Voltage Drop: Increased internal resistance; the cell is largely depleted. Replacement is recommended.
