Combi tester Presidium ARI

The PRESIDIUM ARI is a diamond tester that differentiates natural type Ia diamonds from laboratory grown diamonds (CVD/HPHT diamonds) and all types of moissanites by UV reflectance. Using its advanced, patented technology, the Presidium ARI measures the UV light absorbance of diamonds and moissanites. On its LCD touch screen, the ARI provides a clear and accurate result of ‘diamond’, CVD/HPHT/Type IIa' and ‘moissanite’ within 3 seconds.

Application:
• Distinguishes colorless diamonds and D-J color moissanites from laboratory grown CVD/HPHT diamonds and all types of moissanites, including the new ‘low conductivity moissanites’.
• Suitable for testing on both loose stones and all types of set jewelry. This includes open/closed back rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.
• Testing of cut diamonds and moissanites of all proportional cuts from 0.02ct and up to 10ct
• Immediate results within 3 seconds

Important, restrictive note:

The technology of the ARI is not suitable for zirconia or cubic zirconia and delivers ‘diamond’ as the result in these cases. The Presidium Diamondmate-A (PDMT-A) provides a remedy here, as it can identify cubic zirconia and colourless sapphire. So test the stone in question with the Diamondmate-A to make sure that it really is a diamond. If the tester has now identified the stone as a ‘diamond’, it means that the stone is either a natural diamond, a lab-grown diamond or a moissanite.
