Regula 25 with dancer
Cuckoo clock movements with round dance
A cuckoo clock movement with round dance is a mechanical clockwork that drives a moving group of figures (the so-called round dance) in addition to the classic cuckoo function. These figures - often dancers, musicians or villagers - usually rotate in a circle every hour on the hour, accompanied by music.
When the hour strikes, the door opens for the cuckoo to call. The music then begins and at the same time the round dance starts to move - a charming interplay of sound and movement. This type of clock is particularly typical of traditional Black Forest cuckoo clocks and is often made by hand
Please note the height of the disc when ordering. The height is measured from the minute wheel shaft to the disc.
