cold plating bath Previous product2/5Next product
Colour gold plating bath - cold (ready to use).
Gold deposition at room temperature, heating up to 60°C with conventional electrodes is not necessary. The new cold colour gilding bath for depositing decorative gold layers: It is supplied ready to use and enables comfortable working at room temperature, while requiring only minimal repair and maintenance, and scores with significant energy savings.
In combination with the easy-to-use RM01 small electroplating unit, jewellery parts can be easily and conveniently electrolytically degreased and rhodium-plated. With this high-quality surface treatment, jewellers, goldsmiths and watchmakers, but also hobby electroplaters, can effectively protect their pieces of jewellery made of silver or white gold against tarnishing at any time. In addition to conventional rhodium plating
the RM01 now also offers the possibility of simple and quick colour gilding.
Advantages:
- Gold deposition at room temperature, heating to 60 °C as with conventional electrolytes is not necessary.
- Low repair and maintenance effort, as neither immersion heater nor thermostat nor circulation are required
- Energy efficient
- No extraction required
- Colour consistent thin gold layers from 0.02 to 0.1 micron
- Ready-to-use solution (for all common small electroplating units)
Technical data:
Gold content 1.0 g/l
Temperature 20 - 25 °C (room temperature)
Exposure time 10 - 15 s
Voltage 3 volts
Current density approx. 0.5-1.0 A/dm2
Anodes Stainless steel
Tank material glass, plastic
