XAC/XAG - Plastic Glasses

The XAC and XAG series from Sternkreuz represent the reinforced further development of classic plastic glasses and are specially designed for housings that require increased stability and sealing. The key difference lies in the integrated metal clamping ring: while the XAC series has a chrome-colored (silver) ring, the XAG series is equipped with a yellow-colored (gold) ring to ensure a perfect visual match with the respective watch case.

The mechanical pressure of the ring gives these reinforced glasses an extremely secure fit in the case edge, which massively improves dust and water resistance compared to simple plastic glasses. Made of highly transparent, shatterproof acrylic, they combine the typical lightness of the material with the robustness of a reinforced frame. They are often used as custom-fit replacement parts for well-known brands such as Seiko or Citizen, preserving the original look of the watch while offering the possibility of easily polishing off superficial scratches at any time.
