Calibration

Only "calibratable" balances are premitted to be officially calibrated. These balances are identified with the letter "M". Calibration is prescribed by the state in certain sectors of business,for consumer protection.

Validity of calibration:
All classes of calibration generally two years, but for check balances normally one year, after which time the balance must be recalibrated.
