Hemp ropes in weight lifts

Hemp ropes are among the oldest technical ropes and are characterized by their natural flexibility and good grip. In weight lifts, they are mainly used where:

• smooth running over rope pulleys is desired
• a historical or authentic look is important
• moderate loads are moved
• a low-noise system is preferred

Hemp ropes are particularly well suited to traditional pendulum clocks, tower clocks, or restored mechanisms, as they preserve the original appearance.
