Vaporiser liquid BLQ 1800

Non-toxic alternative to methanol.
The evaporator liquid can be used for all Lötstar soldering units. The ready-to-use evaporator liquid for reducing the flame temperature from max. 2850°C to 1800°C (depending on the gas flow) is filled into the evaporator glass (booster). The flame is enlarged and better recognisable due to a slight blue colour.

In the past, methanol was mainly used as the evaporator liquid. A small amount of a borax compound was added to the methanol, but it crystallised at low humidity and could clog flame arresters and nozzles. Apart from the great danger of appliance malfunctions due to clogging, it should be noted that methanol is highly toxic! Therefore, we only recommend the use of the evaporator liquid BLQ1800.
