At Sternkreuz, the designations R, E, B, and T stand for specific geometries and designs of plastic glasses, each tailored to different watch shapes and technical requirements:
R Glasses (Rectangular Shape/Standard): This series includes classic rectangular and square shapes. They are often supplied as blanks, which must be precisely fitted into the respective case by the watchmaker through filing and grinding.
E glasses (elliptical shape): The E series is designed for oval or elliptical cases.
B-glasses (ball shape): The B series comprises all ball-shaped glasses.
T-glasses (barrel shape): The T series comprises all barrel-shaped glasses.
