The initial strength of the magnetic field exceeds that of convetional demagnetising devices many times over.

The electronically-generated, high-frequency, alternating magnetic field of the Multimag becomes effective in a fraction of a second. Miniature parts such as balance springs are in no way stressed mechanically by it.

As opposed to standard tunnel devices, there is no danger of magnetising parts as a result of incorrect handling.
