Since ETA stopped supplying mechanical movements, more and more independent watch manufacturers are using the mechanical movements of the Swiss Sellita Watch Company.

The movements are identical in construction to the ETA movement series, e.g. ETA 2824-2, 2834-2, 2836-2, 2892-2 or 7750. Many of the ETA components can also be easily replaced with Sellita or ESP spare parts.

ETA 2824-2 = Sellita 200-1
ETA 2834-2 = Sellta 240-1
ETA 2836-2 = Sellita 220-1
ETA 2892-2 = Sellita 300-1
ETA 7750 = Sellita 500 or ESP 7750
