Degreasing bath

Degreasing solution is a strongly alkaline degreasant for intensive quick cleaning of all precious- and non-
precious metal alloys. It has a high grease removal capability and good deoxidisation properties. To improve
the cleaning effect, it can also be used in an ultrasonic unit. In addition, Rhodinette degreasing solution
can be used to neutralise articles pickled in mineral acids or boiled out.

The articles to be treated are suspended in the hot solution. Mechanical cleaning may also be necessary for
stubborn dirt. The articles are removed after the exposure time is finished and rinsed well with clean water.
Carry-over of the degreasing solution into other baths must be prevented at all costs.

Temperature: 50 - 80°C
Exposure time: 1 - 10 minutes (non-ferrous metals max. 1 - 2 min.)
Bath material: stainless steel, plastic (PA, PE, PTFE, ABS)
