Copper bath
This alkaline copper bath is used as a pre-plating copper bath due to its excellent scattering properties and
adhesion, especially for non-precious metals and even on zinc and zinc alloys.
Cyanide copper bath is used in a traditional type of electroplating unit. Pre-treatment includes electrolytic
degreasing and if necessary chemical activation. Following the cyanide copper pre-plating, a further layer
can be applied with the acid bright copper or bright nickel bath which then represents a unversal foundation
for metal electroplating.
