Preparation for lapping

1. Degrease and clean the steel or tin disc with 3M Industrial Cleaner or Ecorange No. 515810
2. Start the machine at 500 rpm, apply the adhesive spray 3M 75 No. 515809 evenly
3. Stop the machine and lift up the latex paper No. 515820 and smooth it from the middle outwards
4. Cut the protruding latex carrier with a cutter knife at a small turn to fit it
5. Repeat procedure (points 2. to 4.) with desired abrasive paper
6. On new sandpaper, level out the grain with a rounded piece of brass
7. Apply grinding grease no. 515811 to prolong the service life
