Origin and Quality

Cultured pearls are divided into saltwater cultured pearls (Akoya) and freshwater cultured pearls. Almost all pearls today come from aquaculture: a tiny nucleus is inserted into the mussel to trigger pearl formation.

Our cultured pearls meet the highest jeweller's quality – high-gloss lustre, near-round shape and a clean surface with virtually no growth marks.
