Calottes, also known as clamshell knot covers or bead tips, conceal the end knot of a strung necklace. The loop takes the clasp, and the shell is fixed with shellac.
Available in two sizes, with either a small open loop or a large closed loop. The choice depends on knot diameter and the weight of the strand.
